Dr. Mukesh Joshi has been the hub around which all of the development regarding popular Joshi Hospital took place. A person with lot of compassion for patient and willingness to do all that it takes to alleviate suffering of patient; he is one who fits the role of the doctor in true sense of the word. Dr Joshi is graduate of Government Medical College, Amritsar.

He did his Masters in Surgery in the branch of Orthopedics in year 1984. After a short stint in private practice, he joined Civil Medical Services in 1986.

Five years down the line, he quit his job and ventured out to start his own facility for care of orthopedic cases.

Joshi Hospital was started in 1991, a 15 bedded facility which catered to Orthopedic cases. With growing reputation, this facility could not cope up with patient load and so hospital shifted to new, spacious and multispeciality campus in 2005.
