Dr Alan Prem Kumar focuses on the study of metastatic disease, specifically in breast cancer. Over 90 percent of the morbidity and mortality that results from cancer is due to metastasis. Thus, the understanding of this process is crucial to the development of novel therapies for cancer patients.
